Digital Ecology in South Texas
The Digital Ecology Project (DEP) specifically aims to educate and inform San Antonio’s community around mobile justice issues on a local, institutional and governmental level, providing initial and post-program analysis of our city’s existing resources and most pressing connectivity needs. Education workshops and engagement sessions are ways in which we will reach out to urban and rural communities that have historically suffered the impact of ineffective wireless protection laws and poor Internet/Broadband access. We will cull data from our outreach efforts to address gaps and inconsistencies with the NTIA Broadband Map.

MAG-Net
The Media Action Grassroots Network (MAG-Net) is a local-to-local advocacy network of grassroots community organizations working together for media change to end poverty, eliminate racism, and ensure human rights.  With over 100 member groups nationwide, regional chapters, an online action network, a media justice learning community, and collaborative campaigns- MAG-Net is advancing an exciting new vision for media justice.

Intro to Media Justice
For staff, board members, and volunteers: Our Intro to Media Justice class meets once a month for 6 months every second Monday. Classes are between 1 to 1.5 hours long, divided into 3 sections: discussion, feedback, and wrap-up from the previous week. Materials provided include essays, articles, and books on the subject matters of media, racial, and social justice as well as leadership and philanthropic philosophy. One desired outcome is to increase our group’s ability to work together as media justice leaders with a shared vision.
